Orchestra

This beginning to early-intermediate youth orchestra provides young musicians who are just learning how to note read the opportunity to engage with peers in a fun and social, team-building musical experience. Students learn how to play in an ensemble and hold their own part, follow a conductor, learn when to be a soloist vs accompanist to other orchestra sections, why note reading is vital to their musical journey, and rehearsal and concert etiquette. An orchestra of combined ages provides a safe space for older beginners who likely do not feel comfortable in a smaller group class of younger children. Open to strings, woodwinds and brass!

A GIFTED MUSIC SCHOOL TRADITION

EST. 2008

A young girl with dark hair adorned with a flower-themed hair clip, playing a violin while seated in a concert hall with beige patterned chairs.

“We feel lucky to have found this school two years ago. At first, our kids were just in children’s choir, but we later added voice, violin, and piano lessons. All the teachers are top notch!”
