What students will learn

Voice students will develop the essential skills needed for confident, expressive singing. Some of the more important skills that students will learn are breath control which allows students to produce a clear, sustained sound and maintain control over pitch and volume. They will also learn the proper posture to allow for optimal airflow to control vocal projection.

Students will learn the importance of articulation when singing. Proper diction ensures clarity and helps convey emotion and meaning in a song. They will also learn how to hear and match pitches to be able to train their hearing to be able to sing in tune
